Transportation & Critical Infrastructure Facilities

In the cruise industry, security is “mission-critical.” Cruise ships are floating hotels, and cruise passenger terminals are under close and continual, federal-agency oversight (U.S. Coast Guard and U.S. Customs & Border Protection). Accordingly, the company conducts officer-training programs to a substantially higher standard for all of its officers than do other security providers.

Over the past three years at cruise line terminals, our security officers were responsible for screening more than 2 million passengers, thousands of vehicles, and over 6 million pieces of luggage.  We located and confiscated 27 concealed firearms and over 8000 other prohibited items including knives.

SecureTrans also provides comprehensive MTSA required security services to Marine Container Terminals in the Port of Seattle.  Among SecureTrans' responsibilities are access control for multiple vehicle and pedestrian gates, and vehicle screening using physical search techniques and explosive detection K-9 teams.  Services include roving vehicle patrols, enforcement of client rules, traffic control, primary emergency response, and facility monitoring utilizing PTZ-CCTV systems.
